Julie initiated master planning efforts for the Birmingham Crossroads including the writing of grants, securing of funds in excess of $90,000 from the North Fulton Revitalization Program, Economic Development Grant Fund, and Fulton County while writing the Request for Proposals (RFP’s) resulting in the hiring of internationally renowned land planning firm, RTKL and a market research and demographic specialist, Robert Charles Lesser to assist with the evaluation of appropriate land use for Northwest Fulton County.

If it were not for Julie's efforts at the Birmingham Crossroads there would be two huge grocery stores on two corners with typical strip shopping centers on all four corners, no architectural design elements and no boundaries to commercial expansion up and down Birmingham Highway.
