River's Alive 2006

The annual Rivers Alive event held by Julie Zahner Bailey and Bill Bailey at Bailey Farm & Gardens in the new City of Milton was another great success. We had nearly 100 citizens, including adults, children, scouts and local fire fighters from our own Station # 18, participate in this terrific environmental education and water quality awareness and clean-up event. This is just another example of the great work, community dedication and advocacy of over a decade of Julie Zahner Bailey, candidate for the new city of Milton, District 2.

Not only did the community come together to make a difference for our waterways, but there was lots of fun, hands-on learning and community camaraderie that took place as is typically the case when the Bailey’s and the community work together for the benefit of all.
