Congressman Tom Price Praises Julie

Congressman Tom Price dedicated an evening to praise Julie Zahner Bailey at a reception honoring her decade of public service. Julie and Congressman Price enjoy a long-standing relationship, have worshiped at the same church and share a commitment and passion for the area.

Tina D'Aversa Williams, Council- Elect, District 5, also recognized Julie for her decade of community advocacy and told the group of neighbors that Milton "must have Julie and her depth of experience at the council table on day one. We need her there."

Congressman Price spoke on several issues facing Americans and specifically on our health care crisis, how significantly the world has changed since 9/11 and the war in Iraq, and what each of us can do to save our environment while addressing effects of global warming. He drew a comparison between his passion for national issues and Julie’s passion for the community and local issues. "She has been and continues to be a force in the community," said Price. "Julie Zahner Bailey has proven herself to be a strong advocate for property rights. She is a tireless worker and willing to take a stand on issues that she believes represent the best interests of our community," said Congressman Price.
